The Stirling Dynamics Quality System is certified to BS EN ISO 9001: 2008, AS EN 9100 and the TickIT Guidelines for Software Development. We are subject to six-monthly surveillance audits undertaken by our independent external auditors.

The scope of approval covers our work in:

• Engineering management, consultancy, research, conceptual studies, test, evaluation and system analysis.

• Design, development, supply and maintenance of engineering software for modelling, simulation, analysis and control systems.

• Design, development, procurement, assembly and supply of prototype hardware systems, including active control technology.

• Static and dynamic testing, modelling, analysis and assessment of aircraft structures and loads in flight and on the ground.

• Analysis of submarine dynamics and development of platform control algorithms.

The company has a proven track record in quality management, having previously held approvals under AQAP 1 and 13 and ISO 9001:2008. We have also held an E1 and E2 Design Organisation Approval from the UK CAA for aeroelasticity, loads, and landing gear response. (The CAA scheme has now been replaced by the EASA Part 21 Approval scheme).
