CE Accreditation

Many customers require our Mechatronics Systems to conform to European Conformity (EC) directives.  At Stirling we can now offer this level of assurance in the form of CE accreditation, identified by the CE marking Logo.

What does the CE logo mark mean?

To indicate proof of conformity a product is marked with the CE logo.  The CE logo marking on a product is a manufacturer's declaration that their product complies with the relevant European Conformity Directives and allows the free movement of the product within the European market.

What is Stirling doing in order to comply to the European Conformity Directives?

As part of the CE compliance process, we have demonstrated conformance with the European Electromagnetic Compatibility directive and as required, our systems can now be tested for radiated emissions, radiated immunity and conducted RF immunity against International Standard EN61326-1 (electrical requirements for measurement, control and laboratory use). In addition, other directives are applied as appropriate.  Testing is conducted by our test partner York EMC.
